What does UK Tobacco vape juice taste like?
UK Tobacco vape juice tastes like a traditional British-style tobacco with a strong but easy throat hit, which is the feel at the back of the throat. The flavour sits in the Tobacco family, so the profile is built around tobacco rather than a fruit note.
The 70PG/30VG blend is high in PG, the part of the mix that gives the throat hit its firmness.
Which vape kits suit a 70PG/30VG e-liquid?
A 70PG/30VG e-liquid suits refillable starter, pen-style and low-power MTL kits. PG is propylene glycol and VG is vegetable glycerine, so 70PG/30VG is 70% PG and 30% VG. MTL, short for mouth-to-lung, means drawing the vapour into your mouth first and then inhaling. Our refillable vape kits category lists kits of this type.
Which nicotine strength should you choose?
UK Tobacco comes in 6mg, 12mg and 18mg freebase nicotine, and each strength changes the throat hit. All three sit below the 20mg/ml limit for nicotine e-liquid, and the 10ml bottle matches the maximum refill size, under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016.
| Strength | Throat hit |
|---|---|
| 6mg | Lighter |
| 12mg | Medium |
| 18mg | Stronger |
What is in vape liquid?
Vape liquid is made from propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG), flavourings and, in nicotine versions, nicotine. If you are asking what’s in vape liquid, check the bottle label for the ingredient list. A 70PG/30VG blend is mostly PG, which is why High PG e-liquids carry that name.
The MHRA’s e-cigarette guidance says vapes sold in the UK must be notified to the MHRA.
Does vape juice expire?
Vape juice can go off over time, so check the bottle for a date or batch information and follow it. Keep the cap closed, store the bottle upright and keep it away from heat and direct sunlight. For more e-liquid questions, read our iBreathe e-liquid questions answered.
What other flavours are similar?
Red Tobacco is another tobacco flavour in the range, with an American-style tobacco taste. Like UK Tobacco, the Red Tobacco e-liquid is a 10ml, 70PG/30VG high PG bottle in 6mg, 12mg and 18mg. Other flavours in the iBreathe 10ml e-liquid range are listed on the category page.
